      Island Paradise           

Pelican Cove Condos in St. Croix are superior to all others. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is huge yet private. A walk on the beach in the a.m. is a great start to the day. A swim in the ocean at The Palms, which is just a short walk & has good snorkeling, is also a perfect wake up. For lunch, we highly recommend the pizza and the rum drinks at The Palms. Order the pizza to go and take it back to Island Paradise, or eat it at The Palms and enjoy the incredible ocean front dining. Either way, you will have no doubt you are in paradise. The Island Paradise unit makes guests feel as if they have their own private slice of St. Croix. The views are beautiful, peaceful. The unit needs some minor updating, but it is in the best building in the complex, the Danish building. The breeze flowing through Island Paradise kisses your skin. Step out the front door and you are on the beach. The floor plan is a nice design with the kitchen open to the dining/living space. The 2 bedrooms are spacious. Renters: Expect ants. You are in the tropics. Spray them & move on. The owner provides a cooler to put in your Jeep. Load it with cold drinks and head off for adventure! Chenay Bay Beach is only about 15 minutes away and is a great place to spend the day. Walk the beach, swim, have lunch at Mahi's, and then return to Island Paradise for a shower and a nap! We recommend dinner at Salud, which is near Pelican Cove. It is about a 5 minute drive. The service, food, and ambiance were exceptional. Other excellent places to dine include Savant, Pirate's Tavern, Eat, and Pickled Greek. Or, pick up some groceries at Food Town and dine in Island Paradise. The Pelican Cove complex is centrally located, and so it is easy to travel to the west end of the island (go to Rhythm's Sunday Beach Party) or to the east end (go to Point Udall and hike down to Isaac's Beach). Both adventures are so incredible; you will never forget the experiences! Everyone at PC is friendly. Jim, the manager, is a great guy! In the end, we highly recommend a trip to St. Croix. If you rent Island Paradise, walk to Hibiscus and have Danny mix you a pina colada. His are the best on the island! One more shout out: Thank you to Anne who helped us rent Island Paradise. Easiest and best vacation we have experienced!"

This was our first experience of staying on an island for a week and the entire process of renting the condo, renting a car, deposits and final payments were so easy and so smooth it was unbelievable! Anne was great to work with and explained everything about the condo, the island and renting a car. We received directions from the airport to Pelican Cove that took some of the scarey feeling of driving on the left for the first time away! The condo was EXACTLY as pictured. The pool was great. The maintenance personnel around the grounds were friendly, helpful and polite. The beach is great to sit on but you have to walk down the beach a little to swim. There are 2 restaurant/bars down there if you don't feel like cooking or going into Christiansted. Our first experience will not be our last.

"Perfect home away from home!"
"This was our first trip to St Croix and we enjoyed it so much, in large part due to this wonderful apartment. It was large, airy, modern and fully equipped.
We really enjoyed the views from the balcony, access to the beach and pools. The beach was not good for swimming, but since we were exploring the island and its beaches everyday, it was not a big concern.
Pelican Cove is conveniently located to a grocery store, Christiansted, and we 'discovered' Ace Roti shop, a Trinidadian take-out place for delicious and inexpensive meals. The residents in Pelican Cove were a delight and very welcoming.
We hope to come back here and highly recommend this property!"

Everything was handled extremely efficiently, promptly and courteously. Anne was outstanding and patient about answering our many questions. She was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful.We received all paperwork, confirmations, etc. in a very timely fashion.
The villa was very nice. The view was it's best feature. The grounds and pool were very well kept. Everyone associated with the condos were very pleasant and helpful.

I am writing to recommend the villa Island Paradise to any family or couple who are planning on visiting St. Croix.  It is located in Pelican Cove right near the Palms.  The location of this villa was perfect as it faced the beach.  The villa looked newly refurbished and was clean and pretty.  Very attractive furniture and a view from the balcony that was gorgeous.  From the main bedroom, the sun arose and nothing could be better than waking to palm trees blowing gently in the wind and the waves lapping.  There was always a warm breeze blowing and very comfortable.  We were very pleased to have the extra bedroom and a washer & dryer including laundry soap. The kitchen was well stocked with every appliance that you might need. There were no sign of bugs anywhere.  The pool was beautiful and had pretty birds and large friendly lizards that sometimes came to sun themselves.  There was a hot tub that was fantastic at night complete with colored lights and the moon & stars above.  We had a caretaker named Charles that attended to our every need.  It was very peaceful there. 
Anne, our contact, was very friendly and knowledgeable.  She was patient in answering all my questions and certainly found us the perfect place to stay in St. Croix.  I would definitely call her again and recommend her to friends.  Thanks, Anne, for finding us the best place to stay on St. Croix !!!
 We have visited the BVI's and Barbados many times but this was our favorite island so far.  They say St. Croix is a well kept secret and apparently so is Island Paradise.  We look forward to visiting there again.  My rating on this villa was a 10+.

Dear Anne,
Thank you so much for all of your help for our stay at St. Croix.  Our condo was great.  Everything was very clean and nice.  We very much appreciated the pack n play.  The pool was quite large, and the water warm.  And your ocean is very warm too.  The weather was perfect.  And we enjoyed many dinners at the Palms restaurant.
