Rent a Villa to Vacation on St. Croix!
St. Croix Vacation Villas & Condos
Hate to tell you all about this gem!
I hesitate to review this honestly bc I don’t want to flood the place with new guests but if your looking for views and apartment style living with your own private pool, then VM is your vacation destination. Guest relations is top notch beginning with Anne who takes care of all your travel issues and booking to Charles, who meets you at the airport and is a fountain of information from your first day. Elvin will stop by on Thursday to clean your pool and anything you need, text Charles and it will be taken care of. Down at the end of the road is TLC Kitchen for an excellent breakfast and lunch, no frills but food is really satisfying and just across the street is Duggans Reef a restaurant right on the water with really delicious food and the best steaks on STX. Taking a less than 10 minute drive to Point Udall before sunrise to watch the sun rise at the Easternmost tip of the United States is not to be missed!

Happy Creatures of Habit…
This was our 6th or 7th
stay at "A View For Two", and we feel like it is our home-away-from-home.
The well-appointed villa is set in a beautiful lush and tropical landscape,
has an amazing view of Buck Island, and is very private and quiet. As
usual, Anne ( St. Croix Rent A Villa ) took great care of us and made
sure we had everything we needed for another perfect vacation. We are
already booked for next year..!

Wow, great views and private. We loved our stay at
A View for Two. Everything as described or better. Several restaurants
close by and honestly all were very good. Our top favorites were Duggan's
Reef at the bottom of the hill, Rum Runners in Christiansted (chef specials),
and 40 Strand also in Christiansted (Rum cakes are so yummy). Buck island
trip is a must! The best part is to have a place to return for a relaxing
enjoyable stay. Escape the heat of the day in the pool, watch the sailboats
go by and do absolutely nothing but relax. The bed was very comforting
after a long day of activities. We were luck to enjoy the Jump Up in
Christiansted (4x a year) and the Mango Melee at the botanical garden
(yearly). This is a great way to experience the culture of the island.
Could not have wanted anything more. Anne was wonderful from beginning
to end in helping us with planning our trip. We can't wait for the next
one!

My husband and I stayed at this Villa Madeleine condo,
A View for Two, and loved it!! It is so nicely decorated and well maintained.
The view from the outdoor patio faces Buck Island and we enjoyed drinking
coffee in the morning watching the sailboats go by. The private pool
was one of the key reasons we decided to stay here. The amenities were
wonderful and everything we needed was available. The contact personnel
were very receptive and easy to reach. It is very close to a few very
nice restaurants which was convenient. We would definitely recommend
this unit to a couple on vacation.

My husband and I recently returned from spending 10
glorious days at 'A View for Two' in mid March 2016. We had been to
St. Croix once before 8 years ago and stayed at the Carambola resort
on the west end of the island. We very much enjoyed that trip and knew
we'd want to return to St. Croix one day. We're avid watchers of House
Hunters on HGTV and one of the episodes featured a condo in Villa Madeliene.
I loved how the condos were each contained in their own building and
each had a private pool so I went about researching if one could rent
one of the condos for vacation and that is how I discovered 'A View
for Two'. Everything about this trip was a great experience. Booking
the condo with Anne at StCroixRentavilla.com was easy and Anne was very
helpful in reserving a rental car for us and answering all our questions.
You will definitely want to rent a car. Since we were taking the 'red
eye' from L.A. it was great that Charles met us at the airport so we
could follow him in our rental car to the condo. Charles was very friendly
and even offered to take us to a shopping center on our way so we could
get some things. If you do this just get a few things on that initial
trip because when you get to the condo you'll see that there are a ton
of condiments already there, it was actually funny to see the large
supply of sugar and Splenda packets at the condo. We contributed a box
of Splenda to the supply! There was even left over liquor at the condo.
The views from the condo are nothing but stunning. We would just sit
out on the patio and look at the water and say to each other 'can you
believe how beautiful this is?'. On clear nights you can see the lights
on St. Thomas and Tortola. Plus almost every night you can see one or
two cruise ships off in the distance sailing between the islands. The
condo is absolutely beautiful inside, well maintained, and it is the
perfect size for TWO adults. I think it would feel a bit crowded if
there were any more people, perhaps young children would be OK, but
it's perfect for TWO adults. My husband is an interior designer and
remarked that whoever did the interior design of the condo knew what
they were doing. The furniture and bed are very comfortable, there are
plenty of blankets, pillows, towels (even beach towels). The condo is
very well stocked. The only thing we could not find (but is probably
there somewhere) was tongs to use when BBQ'ing. The grill worked perfectly
too! There are tennis rackets and beach chairs in the closet as well
as a cooler if you want to have a picnic on the beach. The pool is great.
The water is refreshing to say the least! Not too cold but it is a great
way to cool off after laying in the sun or coming back after an afternoon
of touring the island. We ate breakfast at the condo and a couple of
dinners. The rest of the time we ate out. Here's a list of the places
we ate at. All were good and we'd recommend them. The first night we
were tired so didn't venture too far and ate at The Castaway which has
the vibe of a neighborhood bar and very tasty burgers. We ate lunch
3 times at the Deep End Bar and Grill which is on the beach at the Tamarind
Reef Resort. The sandwich place at the bottom of the road that the condo
is on, TLC, has excellent and interesting sandwiches. One sandwich is
definitely big enough for 2 adults. Our final day we went to the Buccaneer
for lunch and ate at their restaurant on the beach and then paid $10
each to use their beach and beach chairs, which was a great way to spend
an afternoon. Drink service right on a beautiful beach, does it get
any better? Places we ate dinner at were Blue Water Terrace, Rumrunners
(2 times), Shoreline at Chenay Bay, Cultured Pelican (Italian food,
very good), Duggan's Reef (make reservations), and The Galleon (very
good food). One day we went on the full day Big Beard's catamaran trip
to Buck Island. We would highly recommend this outing. The crew is very
friendly and the beach they take you to on Buck Island is amazing. The
water is the most beautiful color of light blue and almost as warm as
bath water. The snorkeling at the reef was fun but the ocean was a bit
rough the day we went. We did see some very colorful fish though. The
day includes a BBQ lunch and what seemed like unlimited rum punch. Overall,
a great day spent out on the water. This was definitely one of our best
vacations ever. We will be back and will stay at this condo again!!
Thank you to the owner of the condo for sharing your magnificent home
with us!!

This villa was in impeccable condition and was comfortable
in every way. At night we laid beneath the stars and watched the heavens
twinkle and blink. The only discomfort we experienced was created by
us and our unwillingnessy to listen to the rental agent who encouraged
us - directed us - to rent a car. Being avid runners and walkers we
chose not to do so, moreover, we did not wish to drive on the "wrong"
side of the road. Our obstinacy created a situation for us wherein we
had to scrounge rides to a grocery store 20 minutes away, and that being
done, we daily had to roll ourselves down the amazingly long and steep
driveway (.54 miles of ascent and descent) every time we wanted to walk
or run to any location. We did power ourselves to Point Udall. This
was a great run, though madly hilly, and a wonderful view of the world
from the easternmost spot in the United States. We enjoyed dinner on
two nights at Duggan's (at the bottom of the relentless driveway) and
otherwise occupied ourselves, but I have two recommendations: Go to
this villa with someone you truly love and enjoy (we had that activity
down pat) AND rent a car. Without either ingredient the vacation will
not shine as it should.

Charles met us at the airport and led us to "A
View for Two." He was so kind to lead us to a grocery store on
the way and patiently waited while we shopped for items we would need.
Once we arrived, he took the time to show us all the features of the
unit, making sure we were comfortable and well situated. This villa
is absolutely wonderful! Large, very comfortable and beautifully decorated,
both the spacious living room and bedroom, with king-size canopy bed
(super comfortable mattress), have French doors that open onto your
private patio. From this, you have a sweeping view of the Northshore
beach and Buck Island. Your own private pool is a super way to float
and relax. Fall asleep while resting on the lounge chairs, sit in the
rocking chairs, or dine al fresco at the table. The huge marble shower
is very pretty and just perfect with it's rain shower-head. The kitchen
is well appropriated with top-of-the line appliances. Everything you
need to make your stay convenient and and and enjoyable. The gas grill
on the patio is a wonderful option for grilling the fresh fish and lobster
available on the island. Our stay was so relaxing and comfortable, we
can't wait to come back! Highly recommend you stay here!

2 Perfect at Villa Madeleine was "perfect" for us.
The villa is in a nice area and was clean and furnished like a home.
Practically anything you needed was in a cupboard somewhere. The view
was amazing. spent a lot of time sitting in the pool area siaking in
the view. Two excellent restaurants (Blue Water Terrace and duggans)
within two miles of the villa. A convenience store/eating spot (good
spirits) is just down the hill. christiansted is an easy drive of approximately
10 miles to the west.

We just came back from our stay at Two Perfect and
it was exactly as the pictures show on the internet. It is a clean and
spacious villa. The views are incredible and the privacy was great.
Charles was a great help to us as was Anne. We will definitely return
to this beautiful villa.

Anne,
Thanks for your help in planning a great
vacation for my wife and me. We stayed in Two Perfect this past week
and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a beautiful property, especially
the pool and patio, and we enjoyed exploring the island.

"Too Perfect" is an apt description for our stay at
Villa Madeleine. "Too Perfect" exceeded our expectations in
every way. This villa has air conditioning throughout, cathedral ceilings,
a spacious master bedroom, large open tile shower, tasteful, comfortable
and uncluttered furnishings inside and out, a pretty private pool, private
deck, fantastic view and a constant breeze, so we hardly used the A/C.
It was nicely stocked with little extras, like zip lock bags, papertowels,
beach chairs, dish soap, a cooler and ice packs for the beach and beach
towels. The internet worked too, and there is a tv in the master and
the living room along with a nice CD player, which worked, so bring
your favorite relaxing CD's. It was a perfectly relaxing trip to St.
Croix. Our host Anne, was available, accessable and hospitable. We are
looking forward to returning soon. Loved, loved, loved it!!!

From my first inquiry Anne was incredibly helpful
and remained so throughout our visit. The Villa was perfect for us!
It provided us with an excellent view of Buck Island, privacy and all
the comforts of home. We enjoyed lounging at our pool, cooking on the
grill and just relaxing while looking out at Buck Island. The villa
complex is safe, well let and very pleasant. Highly recommend this villa
to anyone looking to get away and relax. I have to say a special thanks
to Charlie who not only greeted us at the airport but was available
to assist us during our stay. We will be returning to St Croix and to
Villa Madeleine - hopefully during the coming summer.

Anne really worked her magic in coordinating a last-minute
change of plans that left us without a place to stay during our annual
week in St. Croix. Her responsive customer service made me feel confident
that I was in good hands and would not be disappointed. Anne even dropped
by for a visit to see if there was anything that we needed and to share
her insight on where to eat and what to do during our stay. We were
thrilled with "Two Perfect" and it's tastefully decorated
atmosphere and amazing view of Buck Island. This comfortable villa gave
us the luxury, and privacy we expect while on vacation. Thanks again
Anne!
